Iris continues to shine as one of India’s Best Workplaces for Women

The Great Place to Work honor is a testament to our inclusive workplace culture that focuses on gender parity and diversity.

We’re thrilled to share that Iris Software has been ranked amongst India’s Top 100 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work India. Second time in a row, we are winning this prestigious recognition. The unwavering leadership focus, inclusive policies, and targeted initiates have fostered a strong commitment to gender parity and a diverse, inclusive culture at Iris.

In today’s dynamic business landscape, we’ve long recognized that when people feel truly supported and valued, businesses don’t just survive—they thrive.  This principle is particularly relevant for women in the workplace. By fostering environments that prioritize equity and inclusion, we empower all employees to bring their full potential to work every day.

Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DE&I) interventions predominantly address work-life balance, health & wellness, recognition, career development and building a community of women associates to collaborate, celebrate and network to support each other. Our consistent efforts have resulted in a fourfold increase in the leadership (Director +) gender ratio over the last 2 years and increased women’s satisfaction & engagement from 12% to 49% in the past four years.

At Iris, our flagship offerings include Parental Well Being, Iris Women Achievers, Experiential Learnings and Unconscious Awareness sessions. We make our DE&I journey more engaging with monthly fun-filled events to network, collaborate, and celebrate special occasions and days, enabling our women associates to feel valued, respected & included in all aspects.

“We are honored to be recognized as the Best Place to Work for Women. This achievement reflects our commitment to fostering an inclusive culture where every voice is valued, and every individual can thrive,” said Sharad Verma, VP and CHRO of Iris Software. He added, “Together, we are not just building a workplace: we are building a community that empowers everyone to reach their full potential.”

Iris has made significant investments to develop an inclusive workplace culture for women. We aim to support their career advancement and propel more women associates into leadership positions. This commitment is evident in our flagship policies and initiatives, such as the Returning Mothers Support Program and iWIN (Iris Women Initiative Network).

In the last few months, iWIN has conducted workshops for women on health and wellness, work-life harmony, and communication skills. We plan more sessions to offer women associates the space to learn from each other, grow, and successfully navigate their professional journeys.

The Great Place to Work Institute noted that the best workplaces for women delivered a remarkable 5% more positive experience to their female employees. As a result, an astounding 89% of women demonstrate a strong commitment to going the extra mile in their roles.

“Iris is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace culture for women with a strong focus on gender parity and diversity,” said Sharad Verma, VP and CHRO of Iris Software. “Our women-centric policies and initiatives ensure every voice is heard and valued, empowering them to grow and excel in their careers. Winning the Best Workplace for Women award marks a significant stride in building a high-trust culture for all."
