A Successful Alumni Connect

Our meet-in Princeton, NJ, in September 2025 brought together dozens of tech alumni, who had supported clients in North America, and Iris leaders for an evening of socializing, networking and knowledge-sharing.

The Alumni Connect hosted by Iris in Princeton, NJ, on September 25, 2025, proved to be an enjoyable and worthwhile event for all attendees. It brought together dozens of former employees and Iris leaders for an evening of socializing, networking, and knowledge-sharing. The alumni who attended are experienced technology professionals, mostly located in NJ and NY, who supported Iris clients in North America in the banking, financial and professional services, insurance, education technology, life sciences, logistics and manufacturing industries.

Many guests recalled their positive experiences and career impact from working with Iris, while Iris presenters noted milestones in the company’s 35-year growth journey and recognized the excellence and contributions of our alumni.

Q&A with two outstanding alumni panelists:
- Vice President, Technology Strategy, RIA & Custody Services, for a large financial and investment services company, with 30 years' experience, who worked with Iris from 1996 to 2004.
- Managing Director, Head of Client & Regulatory Technology, for the capital markets unit of major North American bank, who has 20+ years' experience and was employed by Iris from 2009 to 2014.

The panelists were asked about pivotal events in their careers – biggest risks and challenges, powerful leadership moments – and how they stay informed of trends, and their views on success and essential skills needed in tech today. Their responses addressed AI adoption, the progress so far and future expectations, and why empathetic leadership, flexibility, and continued networking and learning are a must for advancement.

Our heartfelt thanks to the panelists for sharing their time and insights and to all the alumni guests who attended the event. We missed those unable to attend and look forward to beneficial Iris Alumni Connects in future.
